car is swaying left and right on the road.

just had my summer rims back on. and now the car seemed to have a mind of its own, swaying everywhere once a short while on the road. it gets a bit scary to drive from time to time. anyone experienced this? any suggestions as to how to resolve it?
the winter setup was done by my caretaker of the car while i was away. he didn't mark the position of the summer rims as they were taken off the car. so when it's put on, i have no idea which one was at which location. would the disrupted balance be the cause of this?

are your summer and winter rims different sizes. i run 16" rims in the winter and 18" rims in the summer. when i change between them my alignment (toe) is always off a little so i always redo the alignment. also have you had your steering shock and sway bar bushings replaced lately. good idea to do this also.

just re-balance all your wheels and put the better ones in the front and start over with regular rotations since he didn't mark them when taking them off!

edit: is the car lowered?

you can tell the wear pattern is usually more on the fronts
