I hear you need hood pins with the VIS. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Hey Den, if you look at the photos it looks as though you can use the normal latches. It shows them using the latches.

I knew about the latches and all, but I am concerned about the quality of the latch being attached to the hood. I dont want that damn thing breaking while I am doing 130.
Does anyone have the number to VIS? I am going to call an get some answers. IF what everyone says is true....uh-oh, gonna be a modding summer afterall.

Thanks for the link. I'm going to call them sometime. I was looking into them awhile ago, but remember something about the structure not being rigid enough to withstand the hydraulics that hold the hood upright, and I do not want to prop my hood open like the other imports. I guess it warps it. Who knows? I'll ask to confirm.

Just remember, when you ask the people that are selling the item about faults in their products....are they really going to say "yes, we are selling a pile of shit" or are they going to say "well, we've heard people say that, but we've never seen it happen". So, just be cautious, all I am saying!!
