re-greased wiper assembly, changed cabin air filter, installed new OEM Designo shift knob (chrome/piano wood)

wiper wasnt moving slow but when opened did look dry....

btw today i turned my wiper on by mistake and it seemed like it was getting stuck, i thought because my window was dry thats y its messing up...i applied a lot of water and it was still getting a lil stuck towards the middle...do you think a lil oiling would fix it ?

Yes open it up ASAP and re-grease otherwise motor will stress and cheap plastic gears will strip.

the wiper assembly is very, very expensive to replace if it broke on you. this is a common problem though on all 202's. just do exactly what the pictures shows. i only take off the small flip cover and apply drops of ATF fluid on the wiper shaft while some1 turns on the windshield wiper. we do it all the time at the dealers and customers are glad that they dont have to buy a $400 or maybe higher part.

benzonline, that wood polish shined up your interior pieces really nice. u got the name of the stuff u use on your paino.

Dont have the name...last time I used a coat of Mequiars car polish + coat of wax and it did the trick even better.

Here is the old shifter....

how did you open the wiper cover case? I recently got my whole wiper system replaced for a shocking $1600. Just going to open and see if i need to oil it.
