they programmed new software to the car at the same time when they told me abot the faulty 02 sensor. this thread is about the crappy cd changer loosing connection to the headunit.sometimes when i listen to cds,the sound just stops working on the display it says no cd.i went to the stealership and bitched about this and they put new software in the car,do you think this would help? it's kind of boring when i can not listen to cds cuz of bugs. tell me whats your solution about this common problem?

i would check the connection of the CD changer output from the back of the headunit and also at the CD changer itself.
what kind of CD changer are you running? how long has it been installed? did you change your suspension or wheels?
i had an alpine cd changer for about two years and it started to crap out after a year and a half. ive encountered many cd changers and they all died long before the car. if youre planning to replace it, just get a CD headunit. that'll last for a much longer time.
