H&R Cup Kit w/ 18" Amg's - RUBBING??

Will H&R cup kit installed on a 00 c280 with 18" amgs rub? would fender rolling fix it if so?

You will *probably* be OK. It depends on the tire though.

If there is rubbing on the fender, then rolling it may help. My car rubs on the inner plastic lining, and I can't think of any way to fix that. Mine are 18x8.5 though, and not 18x8 like the AMG wheels are.

why do so many people have rubbing problems.. i slapped on vogtland springs (1.75 drop) all around. and 19x8.5 rims with 35 profile tires and still have plenty of room to drop my pads down to number 1 or 2. (at 3 right now... *shrug.. i dont get it???

yeah you got really lucky!

i put on 18 in monos 18x8 front w/ 225/40, and had to personaly take a 2 in chunk of front right fender out to stop it from not only rubbing but taking peices of tire off on light bumps...

dropped mine with the H&R Cup Kit...2.0" in the front, 1.7" in the rear...225/40-18...rubs like hell but only around corners and over bumps and only in the front...rolled and pulled the fenders...better but still scrapes especially on the right front...im looking at gettin 35 profile series tires...either that or i could just drive on straight flat roads.
