I just received eibach pro kit I purchased from fellow member.
I opened the box and
2544.001
2544.002
written on the springs.
I searched and found 2544.140 is for my application.
what are .001 / .002 / .140 means?
I thought .001 / .002 indicated fronts and rears.
but why are they differnt from .140? revision number perhaps?
I just wanted to make sure this set is correct set for 97 C230.
you can relax now;)they are the right ones!
as I also have 001,002 on my Eibach 2544,which is the lower version of the two different eibach springs available for your 230,the other being the 2532.140 which is a 1.2 inch drop all round compared to the 2544's 1.7 front and 1.8 rear...
you'll most likly find 140 to be the number indicating a set(001+002),where as the 001 and 002 indicate the difference in spring.
