I want to jack up my car, to change the shifter bushings, fuel filter, etc. However, on the later 202's with the side skirts, the frame of the car appears to be all covered. I see those rubber points below the OEM jack holes, but those aren't safe for using jack stands.

So does anyone know where you can put jack stands on the cars with the side skirts? Thanks

On my 2000 C280 there are metal points below the holes that protrude about a quarter inch. So I put a board on my floor jack and lift there.

I'm also wondering about this as ive noticed the same thing. If anything im sure you can call the 1800 number or look in the manual for the info.

i've had my 98 for over 2 years now and i still haven't found a point for a jack stand yet. dshenberger's idea is probably best.

I actaully picked up those ramps from Pepboys yesterday for $20. I tried them out and they seem to be pretty good and solid. They should be fine for my purposes.

I've got ramps too for when I need to do something small or whatever. They work great!.

There are small locations under the body where you can jack up the car. Just below the places where the cover pops off.

Watch out at the dealership. When the jack up an AMG it can gouge the side skirts.

Boomin - your car is lowered right? did you have to get a special set of ramps? you remember what company makes them or how much they cost?

Yes, my car is lowered. You can see how low it is by looking here:

The ramps I use are called Rhino Ramps. I got them at Schucks/Checker/Kragen. They just barely clear my front end.
