I was wondering is there any better quality than Bose Speakers. I have a 1998 c280 and it still has its original Bose Speakers, one of them died recently. I was wondering if there isnt any better than Bose where can I buy Bose products. They told me that Infinity and Bose are very high quality can somebody please help me out.Im thinking of replacing. thx

Besides the one that died, what do you find wrong or missing in the sound you're hearing? If its overall Bass, a small sub in the trunk will do wonders.
Aswell with the BOSE, its not possible to just replace the speakers as its a 2ohm and aftermarket speakers are 4ohm at the least.

Well bass is def a thing Im looking forward too since the treble overpowers the bass. If I would have to change the speakers I would have too change the entire sound sytem? (CD Changer and Speakers).
For a sub I was thinking Alpine SWR-1221D 12" Type-R Series Subwoofer 1000 Watt
I got the car a few months ago and I have still have no mods placed on it.

infinity kappa speakers are the only aftermarket i've seen that are 2 ohms. everything else is pretty much 4 ohms

Im new to this car modification thing and I dont know the diff of 2-ohms and 4-ohms is it size, power, or anything esle can somebody please help me. Do I have to chnage the space for a bigger speaker on my car door?for a 4-ohms? Please reply
