Hid Install

A friend of my at the mercedez dealer is giving me a set of HID's for my 1999 c280 sport. is there anything special I will need to do to install them.

or just bulbs? and ballasts

In addition to what TP said, I wouldn't recommend putting HID kits in housings that weren't designed for HIDs, even if you could get them to fit. Putting HIDs in housings designed for halogens will produce a distorted output - and make it look like you just have blue-painted halogen bulbs.
