Hello guys, Check engine light came on today...it is the one next to the brake sensor indicator light...looks like a circle w/ exclamation mark in the middle and the dashes around the outside...anyone know what this light is for?

Also does anyone have the CEL indicators for all the lights.

Example:

SRS= airbag system

circle w/ dashes around it, but w/ no exclamation = brake pad sensors (brakes need replacement)

thanks,
Su

I thought that was the light that indicated that the local dealer's service department was bored, and needed some work. ;)

I have the same problem with my car, except no check engine lights came on or have come on. It stalls and needs 20 minutes and fires up like nothing happend. I will look into it also. Its strange, sometimes it'll always do it as soon as you come to an intersection, and then it'll stop for a couple months.

How much is the sensor and is it an easy install?

yes you were!!! I was so excited to read threads from this board and other boards that described the similar problem I was facing and to find out the answer was a sensor...

trueog:
The sensor cost me 99 bucks from the stealership, so roughly 100 something w/ tax. I tackled the job myself, and just finding it was the hardest part. lol

If you need help PM me and I'll be more than happy to help you. Just leave your cell # or something and I'll give you a ring.
