steering stabiliser shock-absorber question?

as title, my steering stabiliser has given up and is leaking everywhere, i took it off and are debating either leaving it off or replacing it.
As for the driving quality i think it has made it quicker and easier to steer at slow speeds and hasnt made the steering vibrate or anything at high speeds.

I would like to leave it off, as it also saves my buying a new one, but my debate is will it damage my powersteering unit from maby a little more vibration through the system? (although you cant feel any through the steering)

any thoughts?

just replace it....it shouldnt cost more than $30 from the stealer
