How many needles do the genuine headlights have? By that I mean the thick spikes that fit in the socket in order for power to come through, behind the headlight. 4? 5? 6? I currently dont have access to my car and I cant see. Its a '97. Thanks.

you are talking about the pins.. Im not 100% sure.. do you have vacuum leveling headlights?
normal headlights (north american spec) have 4 pins.
the euro ones are usually 6 pin.

if you are talking about the pins, then "slammed c" hit it on the ball, LOL. i wasn't completely sure what you were talking about either.

Yesss the pins! Sorry, my mind went numb when i was writing the thread... Yes they are directional, vacuum leveling.
What is the difference between 4 and 6 pins, US and EU headlights? Oh and btw, Ive seen crystal clear headlights with 5! (???) Thanks for the effort guys.:)
