While somewhat on the topic of what I need to figure out also is where the coolant level sensor is? So I can fix my a/c from not always blowing cold.

the thermostat is on top of your water pump. there are three 10mm nuts securing the thermostat housing to the pump, just remove those three and the you'll see it.

coolant level sensor has nothing to do with the a/c system, all it does is turn on the radiator lamp on the instrument panel if the coolant level gets below safe level.

sorry I meant the a/c coolant sensor that you said was located on the side of the water pump. I am just goint to order that one I guess from the dealer cause I can't find it for sale from these online parts places. Also I'll order the evap sensor and replace that along with my cabin filter. Hopefully that will fix my problem. So I'll ask again could somebody show a pic of where the water pump is located on a C280?

i dont think your car has the ac kill switch/sensor. its only on older HFM systems.
