It works fine.... Ur lookin at it.... u just put the spoiler on it.... the spoiler comes with a slight indent on the underside so that helps too... Get it .. makes the back of 202's much better

I think it looks alright, but yes, you can clearly see the gap. No worries though because I think it's only visable from the top.

The lip on the updated trunklid prevents the spoiler from sitting perfectly flush on the back.... but the part that faces backward looks perfect.... Alphanumeric all you do is talk crap..... Im not inexperienced and im not young.... Ive never seen pictures of your car? So untill then work on your jealousy problems.

Proven Guilty.... All lip spoilers are mounted with 2 sided tape... even from the factory.

i used to have this wind deflector on when i just bought the car. it came with the car. the tape used on these stuff are usually really sturdy, so sturdy that u can't get them off. even if u want to.

it took me a while to full it off. and now i still got some tape left on my roof, around the sunroof window. they just don't go away.

alot of people like to use "goof-off" to take off emblems and left over double sided tape. i use rust penetrating oil (it's called NUMBER 5, made by Wynn's). i use it all the time and it works like a charm. spray a little, then let it soak and rub off with a rag then wash with soap after. not sure if local parts store stock Wynn's products but they supply all the cleaning products for my dealer and i love their sh*t.

kinda like the brake clean trick for light sctraches on your car just don't spray brake clean onto your paint...spray it onto a rag a wip over the scratch gently!

Thats the same lip I have on my car, but instead of putting it directly on the bump I put it a little bit forward, not too much but there is no gap and it looks great!

the last lip spoiler i had installed was mounted using clips that allows the spoiler to be properly positioned, and "clicked" down into place. it's somewhat of a 1-time install, because the clips will break if you attempt to remove the spoiler, but provided a much cleaner installation.

the method also used a weatherstrip as to not collect dirt, bugs, and other road gunk under the spoiler. ghetto installs usually result in water/dirt pouring out from under the spoiler when you're at the coin-op car washes.

maybe i'm just a perfectionist..
