View Full Version : Just replaced the fan belt and bent tensioner

Total cost was about $800. Make sure to check this as it will wear as time goes along. If I knew before, I would have changed it before it blew. As a result, I was ripped at the Stealership rather than going to Topline for about $200 cheaper.

HOLY SH....800!....I was qouted 550NZD from the dealership and thought that was a rip...i can pick up the parts for around 250 and do it myself LOL

I would say something to the dealership...

I got the part for $240 and paid my tech $120 in labor for a $360.00 total.

I guess these belt tensioners go pretty often...they updated the part design so it shouldn't happen again.
