Im on 18x8.5 all around and they look pretty cool. you can easily widen the rears with 5mm or even 10mm rings and you still wont have any scraping problem, even with a lowered car. I suggest you go with 5mm option though because if you put 10mm on the rear wheels will stick out too much compared to the front. 8J in the front is perfect. Nice pair by the way, great quality alloys. Good choice mah man.;)

You can still fit 245 on 8" rims for your rear.

yeah, im pretty sure im gonna run spacers for the staggered look fyi, spacers won't make it look staggered; it'll just push the rims out to fill-up the wheel well -- tooks much much better then with the rim deep inside the wheel well. Larger tires in the rear will help the staggered look tho; but far less then if the rims had a staggered lip; these rims have none.

I run OZ 17X8 Supperleggera rims for my snow tires. I run a 10mm spacer in the rear, custom made for me by the guys who sold me the rims. If I were to do it over again, I would do 15mm. If you want to do 10mm, I'll sell you mine. If you go wider tires in the rear (245 or 255) on the rims, you may want to stay with 10mm.

BTW, as these rims have a larger bore then rims made for MBs (a 66.56mm bore), they use a centering ring to keep the rim centered on the hub. If you waant 100% hastle-free spacer installation that will keep the rim perfectly cenetered and not give you shake at speed, w/o futzing aroung, get special spacers like me, that has a small thicker/raised section of the spacer that fits into the OZ rims and replaces the centering ring. big thumbs up on that.

my bad, thats what i meant by staggered look, that the back wheels will be flush w/the rear fenders even though they are the same size and offset as the fronts.

and how much are you lookin to get for the spacers?

looks great! I have extremely similar wheels now! (OEM SLK55s)

I went to Shoreline Motoring (Huntington Beach) and it was $80 for a front fender roll...worked wonders!
