Power Windows.. ?

I did a quick search and couldnt find any relevant threads...
I don't have power windows in my rear doors?
I wanna know how to go about it to get it installed

Do i
a) see Merc dealership (which i reckon will be expensive), or
b) can i get it from an aftermarket power window installer
does anyone advise against this?

i have tints on my windows so i dont really wanna replace the whole door either, i dont mind replacing the interior trimming though.

Are you a do-it-yourselfer...or are you set on having someone do it for you?

either way, I'd suggest talking to Steve at MBENZNL.com to figure out what might be involved...if it's not too invasive, you might just need to find all of the necessary parts and put them in.

You might be able to pull the parts out of the wrecking yard if you want to keep it OEM. You would definitely need all the switches, and motors/regulators. I'm not sure of the year of your car, but if you have an ealier model, would most likely need a PSE module (not positive as the one you have may have the connections already).

If it's a later model, I'm not positive, but I know there are door control modules in each door, and it may be integraged into the CAN bus, which may make it more difficult. Hopefully MBenzNL or someone else with experience can chime in.

^ yep basically...while it sounds pretty much straight forward, talking to steve would at least let you know if there are any "surprises" to watch out for.
