does heater core have a drain

hey guys does anyone know if the heater core has a drain that comes out of the fire wall if it leaks? 95 c36

the ac does. it lets the water drain out. if its clean water its normal. if it is coolant then you have a problem.

do you know if this drain is located rite above the starter. i have coolant comin out of there.
