Anyone used this converter? http://www.scosche.com/scosche_caraudio.aspx?CategoryID=29&ItemID=SLC-4

I seen some people say that's a pretty good convertor.....

I went to another store, but they were charging me double the price, of the one above. It was a peripheral convertor.

Anyone ever used any of them? Which ones do you reccomend? I am sort of on a low budget at the moment. I can afford about 30-40 range. The periheral one, was about 72.00 I believe and the scoshe is about 35.00.

yeah the peripheral is better so on the budget you're on the other one should be just fine.

most entery level and some higher end amps come with a Hi-level input. if yours does(i would imagine that why you need a line out converter) just use the one on the amp, if it has one.

my current amp has a high level input... but my amp's old and sometimes overheats I think... I got a new one... but I don't think it has a high level input.... the manual says it should... but I checked and it doesn't....

I'm thinking of taking a signal off either the speakers or from the deck speaker wires.... and plug it into the rca on the amp. Since my deck has no RCA outputs... other wise I'd just go RCA and not bother with tapping off speakers.

i got this converter from crutchfield i think it works pretty good you just gotta trim the wiers shorter. they are a bit long. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-DsSvDTtxq61/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=127OEM2
