Alternator problem?

Have problems with starting the car. Changed the battery but problem is still there. Im thinking its the alternator but I read in one of the threads that if its the alternator, an indicator light would go on in the dash? Can you guys confirm this for me. Thanks

the light on the dash comes on if your drivebelt were to break/snap or the alternator were to completey give out. most alternators still throw out some amps even when bad so you won't see a light on the dash. go to any shop/garage and have them check the charging system for you. only takes a few minutes.

if you changed the battery and there is still a problem, then like you said, it's most likly the alternator. Most local mechanic shops, will be able to check the alternator power output, and let you know if it's not powering out enough or not.
