What color is the VSS

Does anyone know the color(s) of the VSS. I hvae a 2000 C230k. I have read its a green wire, but there are about 45 green wires in the harness. Im upgrading to a nav unit so i need that wire. When you answer, just so i can under stand you you say, format is like so: green(or what it may be the clolor of the wire) with (color of the stripe running down it)

get a wiring diagram and look it up. as far as I know, speed signal has always been green wire in most benzes, but I am not sure about your car.

there is a speed sensor wire that goes to ur head unit already, its the green one w/the red stripe

It's Green and Violet in those on Pin 1 of the radio harness of these systems.

Ok, i got a wireing diagram and there are a pair of wires coming out of the VSS sensor to the ESP control module. From that come a green and purple wire to the radio. the the green and red wire coming from the headunit is labled a "Data link connector". Im not sure, but by the looks of it, it seems like the green and purple seem to be it, if you have notice otherwise then please speak up.

Sorry dude. The VSS input is green and white for my 94 c220.
Hopefully someone else will know for sure.
