very happy with the results.

I used a hair dryer + floss to get the badges off and then goo gone to get the double-sided tape off. Finished off with a polish + wax.

One question, though. In low light conditions I can barely make out where the badges were (paint is darker). Does anyone have any tips to elimate this?

any fine cut or mystique by mark IV products(which is what I use religiously) will do the trick, but you'll need hi speed buffer.

that looks reallyyyy nice. I have pretty much the same car except a '99. I think I'm going to leave mine because the "kompressor" is so unique.

I have AMG rims on my 280, is it a AMG model? Nope.

That's a little different. You have a C280 with real AMG rims. I think re-badging a car with the wrong model is tacky. That's my opinion and I don't run this universe (yet) so do as you please.

BTW, car looks fantastic!
Do you know if your vehical came with MB paint preservation option?

Once I thought of debadging mine and putting "Chrysler " on the outside, but then I got it running again.

yeah, i'm with polestar. no offense meant by my comment, btw. AMG rims add visual appeal to the car, whereas badging it as an upgraded model is just daft. poser-ish if you know what I mean.

I guess I'm poser-ish cause I got a fake AMG bade on my car. I don't care, I put it there for fun. Some people actually think its a real AMG too. But I will take it off when it mess up.

And I know what you mean...
