Very simple....

1) get in car close all doors.
2) key in ignition and turn over to the #2 position.
3) press on the reset button 2 times.
4) turn key back to #1 position.
5) press and hold the reset button while turning to the #2 position and keep that reset button down until you hear a beep and everything should reset. That's it!

I tried doing this, but IIRC in my car I had to turn the key back to position 0, not position 1 as described in step #4.

I will do it again today to confirm this.

I've done this like twice and I've had my car for 3 yrs so I can be wrong.. however, if you turn the key to position 0 - wouldn't that deactivate the whole sequence? I think if you have to do it a couple of times to get it right.. make sure to follow the instructions from #1.. hope that helps..

I tried it that way but it did not work... I turned my key back to position 0 and it worked. I also posted this for a member on benzworld.org (turning the key back to 0) and he said it worked perfect.

Who knows... maybe both methods work and I was just doing it wrong the first time
