hey whats going on guys, im trying to install my amp cap and sub into my 94 c80, i have done installs before but never on a car that i cared enough about that i had to hide the wires ( ive owned civics, jeeps and a focus) anyways so what i guess im looking for is how to get the wires under the carpet and what is the best way for routing them. I really look forward to your guys help and appreciate it.

I will take pics.. but I didn't run ANY wires at all... all just used all the wires that were in the trunk area and was able to get my amp hooked up :D
well you can remove the door sill and tuck the wire in the carpet there battery is in the trunk so wut all you have is the rca and remote turn on for the amp rite?

from my amp which was mounted in the trunk lid I ran the RCA's and remote behind the trunk lid cover - wich went down with the wires that hooked up the lisense plate lights, then behind all the trunk panals, under the rear seat, threw the right side door sills - i didnt remove then I just pushed the wires under them with a flathed, again under the passenger front saet, up the arm rest from the inside (removed my armrest box, and shifter wood trim) then under all that strait into the HU. It took about 2hours to relize what I was doing but im sure the next w202 ill be working on will take me less then 45mins to finish it all!
sorry for all the sp errors im realy tired and have no fuckin clu why im still up

I feel sorry for you LOL!! I didn't run jack shit and was able to get my amp running. Sad thing is though.... if you are using RCA... then at this point, as far as I know.. you will have to run them... no RCA's were run to the trunk by mercedes at all.
Besides that you don't need to run jack crap. I didn't use RCA's so I didn't need to run any wires. My sounds quality is the same as if I had used RCA's.

Nope.. I have a BOSE amp running the stock speakers.. and have a seperate amp running just the 2 12inch 1000 watt subwoofers.
The way you did it isn't bad... just means you had to spend WAY! more time and effort...

I ran the wires relatively the same way he did (first time doing it too) in under 30 min.

even if your 202 didn't come with a BOSE, you can still wire up ur amp WITHOUT running wires... all the way to the HU.
and yeah for you it might be a 30 mins job.. for me it was more like less than a 10 min job LOL :o :p

you can route the wires underneath the door sil plates front and rear. the sil plates just pop off in an upward motion, and the back seat just pops out too. if your amp is in the trunk, shine a light through the back seat and feed the wires through the hole available. hope that was a little helpful........ good luck!!!
