Hi everyone I just picked up a scangaugeII on Ebay and I love it!! Its packed with features and it works!!
My favorite feature is the gauges, it will let you select 4 from these choices and show real time info on them
Fuel Economy (MPG), Fuel Rate (GPH), Battery Voltage, Coolant Temperature, Intake Air Temperature, Engine Speed (RPM) Vehicle speed (MPH) , Manifold Pressure ,Engine Load, Throttle Position, Ignition Timing, Open/Closed Loop

This thing also has a trip computer and it will scan your codes.

Anyways I hadn't seen a thread on it yet and I figured I would get the word out that these are really cool and worth every penny. Check ths website out and let me know what you think or tell me if you own one already.

None at all. Just plug it into your obdII port under the steering wheel.

Oh, ok, i looked at the site and it had several gauges you can have up. What ones do you get on the 202 because it says not all will work with all cars.

I got everything but the fuel pressure gauge to work. (I drive a 96 C220) I hooked it up in a 03 Taurus and everything but the intake manifold pressure worked. Its a really cool little tool. My car idles at 608rpms, Trottle position at 1 if the AC is on its at 3%, manifold pressure at 6.6 psi, 23 percent load on the engine, battery at 13.4 volts, (just the readings at idle) it was 101 degrees F yesterday and the intake air was 109F at 70mph...stuff like that...Their site said it will work on all cars 96 and newer except 2001-2003 Mercedes. So it should work on all 202's!!!!

I could care less about the gauges too, but for $165 you can get something that tells you all that, scans your codes, turns off the CEL, and have a trip computer. It would be nice if our cars could tell you miles until empty or mpg like other Benz. Its nice to know I'm averaging 29 mpg in a 10 year old car with 181000 miles on it. Is that useful to anyone else?? I drive 80 miles a day, 60 of it on the freeway and slowing down has got me an extra 90 miles per tank so 480 instead of 390!

if it reads codes and clears CEL then its hella worth it!

Hi I was wondering where did you mount the unit. Do you have any pictures?

It sounds great, Ive got a c200 CDi and really want MPG info and how many miles left till empty. Do mercedes make a unit like this. Ive seen in other threads that other people have seen a MB trip computer but i cant find any info on this at all.

In theory its under the steering wheel above where your right knee is. Mine has a little flap over it, its black but it really sticks out. You cant see it while sitting in the car, but look on the panel under the steering wheel.... I haven't mounted it anywhere yet its sorta in the cubby under my stereo.
