a/f gauge install

Hey, i got i quick question for whoever knows. I just got an a/f gauge and i know that that you have to hook it up to teh O2 sensor. So the question is what O2 sensor, exhaust i guess. and the other is can you butt connect teh wires or do you have solder them together. If you help me out, i can get pics of my custom gauge A-pillar pod. So please help, i just want to get it right teh first time so i dont have to get inder the car 14 times. If anyone had any pics of there own install, i know slammed c has one, that would help alot.

I was under the impression that A/F gauges come with their own wide band O2 sensor that you would thread into a weld-in bung(correct term?).

If the vehicle has it's own wide band O2 sensor maybe it's possible to tap into it as you are doing.....

The one i got works with narrow band OEM O2 sensors. There wide band, but i didnt opt for that one just yet, but thanks anyway.
