location of o2 sensor

I have a 2000 C230k and i am going to do an O2 sensor change. I just need to know howmany there are and there location. I have a place to get them, i just need that info. also, if anyone know how many wire there are on the O2 sensor and what each one is because im installing an a/f gauge while im at it.

not to sound crass, but generally all O2 sensors are located in the exhaust system just after the exhaust manifold/header. it's just kind of a "follow your nose" case.

most, if not all w202s, have at least 2-4 sensors depending on model.

23k may chime in with more technical info if you wanted to first check them with a meter to ensure you need to replace them. it may also be found through a search.

-what symptoms are suggesting to you that one or both sensors are bad?

poor gas milage, hesitates a bit, and they have been in for about 185000 miles, so i think its bout time for a change.
