You should just post it up anyway, you know there will be people out there that don't want to admit they don't know how to change their oil. Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing how it is done, although, I have a guy who does mine for extremely cheap.......Beer cheap!!! But, I wouldn't mind seeing how, so let's see it.

i went the easy route because it's not that easy to lift up a lowered car, when you can't even get your jack underneath it, (gotta lift it first with stock jack then put in extra jack etc. and this method also eliminates having to take off engine cover underneath the car, i know it's not hard only 4 screws, but still )

    so things you need
if you go this route and keep it clean and easy

is a Topsider, or any other brand of a vacuum pump.
this one is good because is for 8.5 quarts or so, since my car takes between 7 to 8 quarts, depending on how much i take out, it's just perfect.

    here's a pict

    ok, first thing first
if your car is cold let it run in idle for 5 mins to warm up the oil
you want the oil warm not hot, then shut the car off
looking at the engine locate your dipstick, pull it out and clean it with a rag.
then you'll insert the topsider or any vacuum's pump end in where the dipstick was, all the way down until it touches the bottom of the oil pan (you'll fill it).
let your pump do the work now and let it suck out the oil
when it's done you'll see mostly air sucking out, (it's pretty good to get out all the oil so no worries).

after all oil is sucked out, clean your hose etc, then put your dipstick back
now it's time to remove the oil filter
it's not located in a very open easy to see spot like on most cars
but you once you find it you'll never forget where it is
look towards the right top of the engine, so close to windshield, for a round black plastic, i circled it with red in this picture for easy see.

now you place your oil filter cap removal tool on top of it then unscrew it and pull out the filter, use a rag underneath it so you won't leak your oil all over your engine as you remove it
then place new filter in and close cap again with tool.

now that you've changed filter, it's time to put in some new oil
cap is on top of engine, just unscrew and put in your new oil
i use Mobil 1 0w30 every 3000 miles, but that's just me i'm crazy but those 3000 miles are not normal driving miles so that's why so often, do as you like though it's all a personal choice.

when you put in your oil after the 7th quart or so check your dipstick and make sure you are in the good range, you don't want to overfill your engine with oil.

once done, put cap back on, and you're ready to rock and roll
pretty simple and painless, and saves you $$$ and do it on your own schedule instead of waiting at a stealership pretending to like watching their tv channels in the waiting area

    hope this helps
    i'll shut up now
