    CLK Sway Bars

As an attempt not to hijack RemoLexi's thread on the ML's Sway bar, Can anyone find out if the CLK's Sway bars fit the 202? (as they share the same chassis). I assume that they'd be stiffer than the 202's

Please, if anyone has access to this info, i think we'll all be grateful!!

    My thoughts exactly...

    Thanks RemoLexi!

While you're at it, could you measure the diameter of the front sway bar if one comes into the workshop? Much appreciated

    W208 CLK320 shares exact same front sway as a 95' C280.

I saw both cars on the lifts today and the 208 had a W202 P/N stamped on the sway.

SO, does this mean that the W208 gets the sways from the W202, therefore meaning that there are no larger sizes for us from that car?

Just had a quick look at Detali site. There were some earlier part numbers that were superseded. But, it would seem that the following later part numbers cover all the W202 C280, C36 & C43 and W208 C320 & C55:

    202 323 43 65 W202 C280, C36 & W208 CLK320 (early models only)
    202 323 56 65 W202 C280, C36 AMG
    202 323 52 65 update W202 C280 & W208 CLK320
    202 323 50 65 W202 C43 AMG & W208 CLK55 AMG

There might be some after-market parts available as well.

Edit: Yep. Just found Eibach have an anti-roll kit:

    Damn, that's disappointing... Thanks Remo

Oz, thanks for the part numbers...only problem is i can't order them part by part and measure them cos my dealership has a no return policy on ordered parts, so there's no way me ordering them without taking it.

thanks for the eibach site...i knew about those...the only thing is they cost an arm and a leg.
