3.5" up to the Cat convertor, and 3" for the rest of the system.

Not running yet, probably about 4+weeks away. Shouldn't be too bad, i'll add an extra muffler in the middle if it is too loud.

can you take a vertical shot of your dump showing the clearance?
I really need to know how do you make it with a 3.5" coz i need one.
    thanks!

Love it when you start and job, and everything falls into place.

Front brembo's mounted 100%, pad wear sensors in/connected, brake lines done! Will bleed them tomorrow.

    New Bilsteins fitted also

330*32mm front disks with Factory Merc Brembo's

Plenty of clearance with the factory 18" mono blocks!!

Hey, it has a Toyota A340 4 spd auto-hooked up to the factory Merc shifter. Being a daily driver, i decided to stick with an auto rather than manual.

Are you able to resinstall the firewall?...venting it somewhere would shed alot of built up heat if you can.

btw that black spray(rough finish like honda covers) you used on the cam cover and plenum looks great, hope to use that on my next project as well!

Yeah firewall is fedinately going back in. Gets taken to get the TX valve replaced next week and all the AC lines finished, then i can put the firewall and heatshielding back in. Still alot of small jobs to go to finish and neaten it up.

Bilsteins are in, and front is lowered, still need to drop the rear. Hope the front will settle approx 10mm lower with time.

    Thank you.

While i know some people will have a problem with this-Meh....

I'm not one for AMG badges on a normal Merc or M badges on a normal BMW, but the toyota logo looked wrong when the hood was up. So this.

Car will keep normal C200 badges on the outside, or maybe be de-baddged.

That looks great. Unless the person knew 2Jzs I think most would think its an M104. That looks really professional even almost stock, did you do it yourself?
    Completely mad.
'99 C230K, intake and exhaust more on the way.
'86 MKIV Escort RS Turbo, stock for now, chip and more boost on the way
'75 Fiat 124 Spider, koni shocks, bigger carb and drilled/slotted brakes
to tune and hoon the mbz master race.

Pro job dude!...The merc badge is gold! not so sure about the amg bit but you made it clean so looks that part regardless^^

So much more room for turbo when they dont lean it to create room for the long intake manifold!.

Air con is now gassed and working, most of my electrical stuff has been sorted, like oil pressure light, reverse lights, temp gauge etc.

Sorted out the wiring to the fuel pump, which took a bit of stuffing around due to the ECU having no fuel pump out trigger for the relay. Initially i connected it via a relaty to the oil pressure switch, but when the car had been sitting overnight and all the fuel pressure had bleed off, and it took a few secs of cranking to get oil pressure-it was taking too long to start. So now the relay is also connected to the starter motor-which gives the fuel pump a quick prime when you crank it, and by the time it starts-it has oil pressure=Much better solution and starts like normal.

I had a problem with the power steering pump cavitating, due to the reserviour being a bit blocked, and the pipe from the Res to the pump not being ideal. Had the res cut open, and new stainless return line welded on, and it all seems good so far.

Car has settled down nicely on the new lowered springs, i may still have to drop the rear a further 10mm or so....

I hope to have it RWC, Rego and dyno'd in the next few weeks if all go's to plan.
