    + & - Of CC Increase

    yo everybody
    jsut wanted to know what would happen if i was to increse the cc of my 1.8 to a 2.0 i know it can make it unreliable and what not but i wanted to see if anyone has had it done or if anyone knows what the pros and cons are

    why go through all that trouble for such a small increase in displacement?

    how do you plan on enlarging your displacement ? im just curious ... my answer will vary from what I hear.

    you can get a 320 entire driveline for under $2k, don't go through that hassle, if you are going to upgrade, go 3.2L

    i say get a 280 you know it fits under the hood and all the wiring harnest are avaible

    the 320 and 280 are the same engine, both m104.
    but you would be better going with the 280 as you can probebly get all the gear needed out of a written off 280.

    going to a 280 will be so much work tho!

    just had to say that twice so it has more impact.
    you can probebly just get a second hand c220 motor.
    but for the cost i dont think for the benifit it would be worth it

    320 M104 platform is MUCH better but if you want to do the V6 you can.

    hey Omey whats the 3.2 transplant process include ? I mean what are the hard parts of going from a 2.3 > 3.2 labor-wise ?
