Electrical problem

hey guys.. got a 95 c280 1670000 miles. wiring harness replaced new maf all the good stufff...

yesterday i start the car and i realize that the front dome lights dont work . plus the "cel" and the "low coolant lights" dont work ( when key is turnedhalfway).

today my buddy pointed out that my brake lights are out. i opened the trunk and took out the bulbs and one of them is black like it exploded. i baught replacement bulbs, tried to put them in but nothing. no light.

i know i got a bad short somewhere ...

i dont have the slightest clue on where to start

anyhelp will be appreciated.

Check all your fuses and the brake light switch under the dash.

yes sir mr nismo it was the fuse... man its funny how i always check the fuses but just this time i went crazy....

good to know i got the lovely people at club202 to set me straight.

so thats taken care of im back on the road..

now could this have happened while i gave my friend a jump start?

another thing i noticed is that the interior Dash lights and the brake lights have the same fuse. i found that kinda weird .. can anyone care to elaborate on that?
