    Door pins?

Ok so ive seen the clk ones on jre's ride pretty clean are there any otheres that are compat. with the 202 that look different? or any aftermarket ones that look tight? and where can you get them? i kno the clk ones from the stealership but how bout some others? THanks! what i would really like to find would maybe be some ones with red led on top and wire it so when locked they flash. *shrug* just a thought. i figure these forums can be pretty forgiving as far as thoughts after the a/c and heat seat post....

wuteva wuteva i do wut i want.

    anyhoo....

I will still help on your led pins. On the market they sell those fake alarms. It consist of a relay and a led light. Basically when power is turned off it will start to blink. Simply get one of these and 4 small led.

Hook up this fake alarm thing up to your car per their instructions. But remove its stock led light.

Get the clk pins from the dealer. Or those fake brabus ones from ebay. drill a hole on top. Fit an led on it and wire it up to that relay. And presto instant blinking locks. :bandit:

Yeah he gave me a huge deal cause he had to oreder a restock anyways. but orig. they run 1.50 a piece but when they pull up on the comp. just make a fuss how their cost is .40 a piece. theyll give you deal maybe not 4 for $! BUT LESS THAN 1.50 A PIECE...

Oh, I forgot to ask, I never went to the parts department of the Mercedes Dealership, and I am wondering if I have to ask for the pins by their part number or what?

    Yo Sik,

My dad needs those emblems sorry man. He has some benz's of his own that he needs them for. If I were you I would pick a emblem up at the stealership. If you want I can come pick up my pins at pleasanton the same day as you so I can see your car!

Hey I called on this part number here at the Mercedes Dealer in Bellevue, WA and they say they can't find that number. Are you sure that is the number.

    Would it fit?

Would aftermarket door pins for E CLASS W211 or E CLASS W210 fit a w202?

  18. #18
The aftermarket door pin should fit most models, i just did this mod last week. i put black CLK lock pins in place of my giant knobs that were there. (not too mention i got them for .55 each because i work there But they do go on a certain way and... make sure you order the correct color for your interior. When the parts whore needs to match up a part he uses the VIN, things can get tricky.

On the description, they said the door pins would fit a w203 and e-class, but when i wrote to them they said it would fit a clk but not a w202. So what are my options? Do you guys think they will still fit my w202?

    clk pins

I was going to swap out my stock door lock pins on my 98 c230 but I believe since those pins dissapear when the door is locked it kinda places anyone in the rear seats at a severe disadvantage if you get in an accident because if the doors are locked you can't open the doors from the inside (without hitting the unlock button in the front) Wierd lil' child safety thing seems like but something to keep in mind perhaps... just thought I'd put it out there. I dunno about any other models.
