    Wood Trim Around Shift Area?

The black area. I have seen W140s with wood surrounding the black. Does anyone know the part number for this?

I thought that that was standard on the cars with wood? The wood I got from Drew (expo5.0) came with that piece.

I will run downstairs now and check the part number on it.

    Edit:

There wasn't a part number on it...

Look at part #17. There are lots of different versions. I imagine classic is the black plastic, elegance is the wood?

Researched a little. It seems that the 1999-01 W210, and 1999 W140 had them.

    Non-sport 99 w202's also had them in the U.S.

Time to head to the junkyard! I think this would be even better than going to the dealer. There is quite a bit of varation in the wood color over time. 99's seem to be darker than 98's from a lot of the pictures I have seen. At the junkyard, you can match it better. The dealer will just order one and you won't know whether it will be light or dark.
