    scratch repair

i was pissed early december taking my polished aluminum rim off and scratchED it with the wrench, wide deep scratches, is there any way to repair or at least lessen the blow?
i tried that quik scratch shit and it worked a little, but it kinda looks like the scratch needs a clear coat. any way to finagle this biotch?

i read in a post on another site that if i have bare metal rims (in my case polished aluminum) that i can start with 800 grit work my way to 2000 grit and some autosol, rim should be like new, but i will need to rebalance it do to some rim material lose? idea seems logical to me. I think ill try tomorrow, any insight?
