WALD kit - fog lamp install query

    Hi,

I know a couple of people have installed a WALD kit along with the fog lamps in the front bumper. I have the bumper and the fogs but how do I install the fogs into the bumper securely?

Please could someone give me an idea of what to do?

    Thanks

they're FRP skins, so you have to fabricate your own brackets. on my first kit i just molded plumber tape (the metal strips used to secure pipes to studs) into the bumper to create hangable brackets with them with fiberglass and resin. some guys have used zip ties as well. where there's a will, there's a way ;D

    Where do I begin...

I bought the W202 WALD fog brackets from Jonari corp. directly. I ended up going to get them installed and they didn't fit behind there! The shop had to end up cutting a little bit of the front support beam on each side to allow them to even fit! On top of that, the springs that are supposed to hold the fogs in place held it in very loosely, and those ended up needed to be trimmed as well to have enough resistance. Overall, very poorly engineered...

So its not best to try and fit those particular brackets but instead fabricate my own?
