the last time i had a SL emblem on my hood. I used 3mm double sided tape and it worked perfect. so after a year the blue coloring as faded and it looks like junk. so now it's time to replace a new one. I've just received the adapter kit in the mail. I thought it is supposed to be straight forward. Yes, it is simple. but I think i will still need to use a little 3mm on the emblem without having people to just pull the emblem right out. the kit holds the emblem in place but it doesnt lock it down.
just felt like sharing a little adapter kit experience. enjoy your day. :bunny:

thats the kit i got. there is the part # for the emblem. i dont believe there is a perfect fit for the w202 flat emblem anyway. double sided tape is fine.
