L.E.D tail light

i was considering these lights but not sure if i like the clear housing althouh they are black inside. you guys with these kinda of aftermarket lights do they cause a error of the light in the dash to go on as if a bulb is burned out?

not sure if i m liking all that chrome on those tails lights. i would definitely darken them.
