    1999 C230 Kompressor with 5-speed manual - Only 1 in U.S.

Well, I have too many cars and I need to thin the herd out. I have my C43 AMG up for sale but it has not sold yet so I figured I'd offer up my supercharged 5-speed and see which one sells first.

This is a 1999 C230 Kompressor with a 2.3 16 Valve 4 cyl with an Eaton Supercharger. The car runs great and the engine has 191K miles on it. The supercharger gives it good power (approx 200hp) and great gas mileage (30mpg HWY.) The exterior is Silver and is complimented with a Black Leather Interior. This vehicle comes equipped with a 2.3L Supercharged Engine, 5 Speed Manual Transmission, Bucket Seats, Center Console, Garage Door Opener, Heated Front Seats, Power Heated Mirrors, Keyless Entry System, Lighted Entry System, Power Brakes, Power Moonroof, Rear Window Defroster, Tachometer, Alloy Wheels, Stability Control, Traction Control, 4-Wheel ABS, Driver and Passenger Front Airbags, Front Side Airbags, Anti-Theft Alarm System, Power Driver's Seat, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Remote Trunk Release, Leather Shift Knob Trim, Leather Steering Wheel Trim, Air Conditioning, Intermittent Windshield Wipers, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Auto-Dim Exterior Mirror(s), Auto-Dim Rear View Mirror, CD Player and Bose Audio

The 5-speed manual transmission was not offered in the U.S. so the parts were shipped from Europe. The transmission swap used many new parts including a new clutch. The 3rd gear synchros are worn so you have to keep your hand on the shifter when in third gear or it will pop out into neutral.

The car also has extras like Avantgarde Grill, AMG Pedals, and Blaupunkt CD Player. I also have a set of 17x8 BBS RX wheels on the car now but I will sell the car with the stock 8-hole wheels.

I am asking $4,250 with the stock wheels and $4,750 with the BBS wheels. I’ll take some pictures of the interior soon but here are some exterior pictures for now.

mind telling us where you got the transmission from and how the conversion went? i would be interesting in doing the conversion myself.
    Completely mad.
'99 C230K, intake and exhaust more on the way.
'86 MKIV Escort RS Turbo, stock for now, chip and more boost on the way
'75 Fiat 124 Spider, koni shocks, bigger carb and drilled/slotted brakes
to tune and hoon the mbz master race.

The transmission was out of a 1999-2000 SLK230. The pedal box and other W202 specific parts came from Europe.

This is just like your European Spec 5-speed with the same Mercedes tranny. Mercedes decided not to import manual transmission W202's to the U.S. so you would have to make your own if you want one.
