    Rolling Fenders

    Ok,

Has anyone ever rolled a fender?

My monsterblocks have made driving a problem since my tires keep rubbing, and now they are shredding! Not crazy, but there are shreds of rubber from the tire hitting and possibly getting shaved by the metal from the fender...

    Advise, Tips, How To?

    Thanks.

use eastwood fender roller .start to flatten the lip from the top middle of the fender. go left and right from trim to trim. try to maintain a smooth pull dont yank the arm of the roller out all hard or fast as your roll. take your time with it. flattening the lip is easy thats all you should need to keep from catching the fender.

Ive done plenty of rolling... I have access to a eastwood roller if you are anywhere near Fresno, CA.... Oh yeah if you do it on your own, dont forget to heat up the fender to avoid cracking paint.

If it was a missile then do it yourself, but it's not so I would have someone do it for you. There is a guy up in Cincy that everyone I know goes too and he does a great job. I would check the shops around town, I'm sure there is someone local who does it.
    Completely mad.

Sorry, Cincy as in Cincinnati Ohio. I live in Kentucky and Cincinnati is a short day drive from Lexington.

I did the fronts the old fashioned way. I removed the fenders, and used a hammer.

I have not done the rear yet. If I need to at some future point, I'll update the posting.
