    Cup holder

K our cup holders have to be the worst cup holders ever designed! Mercedes in general. Mine had been acting up for a long time and it finally broke. My buddy with his w203 had the same problem and so did a friend with a clk. Just venting haha

There's some justification for ours being terrible. We have one of the first models out there to come with a cup holder at all! Although I can't say I enjoy it when whatever sits in the upper cup holder spot flies into the passenger's footwell...

Lol mine hasn't done that actually. But what annoys me is that I have to buy a drink that fits in the holder. Lol. But normal soft drink cups fit fairly well. But a small tab on my top holder broke so when I hit turns i usually just hold it til I'm done turning

The holders are better than the older benzes. When I was a little tike. My parents owned both a 300e and a 190e. And If I'm not mistaken. The cup holders were on the backside of the glovebox door lid. And it wasn't much of a holder. Just two little indents. U can only use it if u were stopped. Lol. How dumb

the left cupholder works fine but it wont hold much. A soda can fits perfect and oddly enough a large McDondalds cup does as well. The base seems to be small than the paper cups. the trick folding one is useless though. It looks cool, but can't hold crap.
    Completely mad.

Everyone who has ever been in my car thinks the cup holder is cool as ****. It's just the functionality of it that could have been better.

In addition to the center console one, I also have a folding cupholder located at the front driver side door panel. It's actually useless but nice to know it's there in case I really need it.

I feel like the cup holder space itself is more convenient than the cup holder..

i think ive realised that wherever i got this arm rest from has cheated me on the actual cup holder.
like emili230k just said, i think my initial 'cup holder' i've been talking about is the cup holder space... haha!

The 1994 models definitely did not come with the cup holder. On the cars that came with the holder from the factory the cupholder clips in. On the early cars you needed to use a plastic bar that was included with the cup holder that used two sheet metal screws to hold the mechanism in place.
