    Window winder handles..

Well, recently ive had new door cards put in from a newer model which had rear electric windows. And my model of the car has manual rear windows. So now I've come across the fact that I will need to DIY the hole in the door card, which I have already told a friend to help me do some carbon cut out for both sides, real question is; I need new winders now and where can i get a set from specific to mercedes? Maybe an aftermarket brand? At the moment ive been looking at universal ones but worry they wont fit!

no way! Not until I win the lottery anyway! Ive spent far too much money on the interior itself to spend more on just converting the windows to electric

Manual windows on a Mercedes? Do you also have a crank to start it?

What's so strange about manual rear windows in a back of a mercedes? I've seen so many with them, maybe its an EU thing?

Yes it must be an EU thing. The only cars here with front power rear manual windows were Peugeots and they haven't been sold here in over 20 years, and Dodge Chrysler Neons. I don't get why Mercedes would be so cheap.

There is a less competitive market when it comes to German cars in Europe whereas the US market considers German cars to be luxurious. As a matter of fact, most domestic and Japanese makes in the US do still offer manual windows (or at lest they did a couple of years ago).

I have MB W202 hand crank window winders. Do you just need the rears?

PM an email address & I'll send you a picture of them.

For those of you who have never seen them, these are what genuine MB W202 hand crank window handles look like. They are really sturdy metal.
