Personally, after being an owner of the 833 for a while now, Im starting to underappreciate it... I want bigger square tips haha.

2.5 will do. Any welder/exhaust shop can do it. It is quite a beefy deep tone, if your really into it.

I would go with a turbo muffler in the end to keep it quite and a cherry bomb in the middle so not to sound to like a rice rocket

A crossplane V6 is very different than an Inline 4. I'd have to hear what a cherrybomb sounds like on a 4 banger before I make a call on it. I do however love my vibrant muffler and resonator.
    Completely mad.

I do agree but a 4 bangger that doesent rev to high needs back pressure a flow thru muffler will make it sound raspy if vetruck says that the set up was good for autox then on the street it would have better low end response

I would go 2 1/4 on the whole system on our 1600 hondas 160 rwhp we used 2.0in dia exhaust so 2.1/4 would be enough on a stock 2.o engine

Were talking of a street car here ,and yes you are right ,a 4 stroke engine to get the most power out of it is to use a less restrictive exhaust but the question is at what point of the power band will you get it at 5000 to 6000 rpm high comp on this engine ? 9.5 to1 high reving engine is a honda b16 toyota 4age 20v these to are 10.5 to1 and rev to 7800 just run a straight pipe to the back 3inch thats what will make the most horespower no back presurre at all

You can't have an overly open exhaust on a street tuned car, you will loose power and you will probably fail smog. This is more important for NA motors than boosted ones but it all applies. You don't need larger than a 2.5inch pipe for our cars, a 3inch is good if you slap a big turbo on.

My point is that 2.25 to 2.5 exhaust system resonator /muffler on a stock car is a good idea for a street car .
