    Slk steering wheel fits!!!

    I got an SLK steering wheel from work and woulnt you know it fits the 202.I was excited. Here is a pic of it in my car.

    Looks great, did you also replace the shift knob too from the SLK? and do this SLK steering wheels come in tan or brown to match the 202 interior?

    anyhow, wished you had gone for the same color leather as your interior... but looks good!!!

    Yeah I know Wichi,I wished i could find one in brown or tan but maybe i can sometime,Btw how do you get the pic blown up like that? is there a thread on it some where?

    The shift knob is out of an S600.Im going to have to research to see what other colors they come in. The pic does it no justice when you look at it it looks really good against the other colors.

    Lol.My girlfriend put them in there,They work pretty well but in this heat they dont last long though.

    W124,W126,W129,W201. We do but the one I saw today had steering wheel controls. Btw No good tan interiors,all we have are grey interiors left so if you want i will keep you updated when we get one in.

    Same color as mine.just with the controls.but I will take a pic tomorrow if I can get out there.no not a 210 it was out of an slk 350 I believe.

    Also fits: w210, W208

    There are a number of update w202's out there with them. My favorite interior mod: w208 updated instrument cluster with COMAND 2.0 head unit and w210 E55 steering wheel with fully functioning buttons. The wheel and panel bolt right into the w202 with no mods. The COMAND 2.0 requires some cutting of the wood panel on the w202 to fit.

    I myself have never seen that upgrade,Im guessing there would be a lot of wiring to do for that mod.

    Well now that I have that steering wheel on I am thinking of painting the brown on the dash and center console black just so it matches,What do you guys think?
