these are the best looking 18 inch rims on a w202.
does all AMG rims get their clearcoat peeled off, is it a bad paintjob from factory?
is it Ronal who makes these rims?

@wichipong i paid 300 to repair, polish, paint(halfass), mount tires balance for 5 rims.

@kowalski its mostly because people who take them to carwashes don't realize they use acid to clean the wheels, over time it eats the clear coat away.

I have seen several monoblock rims with clearcoat peel, each peel looked very awful like round spots.
I have some peel spots on my 17 inch rims and I always handwashed them, I only used acid made for rims, seems like they are sensitive to chemcials?

It can be from many things but the most common is using chemicals to wash rims, also acid in rain water, direct sun light can affect them to.

Looks excellent. What rubber do you have on it?

I wish mine came out like that.

Looks great! Makes me wonder how black monos would look with a polished lip... didn't someone do that before?
