$400 usd a piece...for the whole unit. they do not sell just the lens. they only used these lamps on 2 cars. the C36 and a SL with AMG bumper. they are projector. I just upgraded mine to HID. i put this film called Laminx on them and that actually reduced the visible pitting. Try that first.

Okay dude...it's probably the best way to hide those pitted lenses...
So, which HID did you put on your C36? where did you fix the ballasts?
Do you think that this Laminx worth? it looks much better than before?
I'll definitely buy this film to my lenses...they are awful...
thanks anyway dude...at least now I know that thos projectors are from SL's with AMG Pack too...
I'll wait for your reply on this to get best HID to replace the regular blbs...
i bought my hids from theretrofitsource.com definately more expensive than the cheap kits. I bought the 4300k 35watt kit. The bulbs fit in fine, just the backs are a little too long for the housing. So i modified the foglamp bulb cover a bit so it would fit. I then covered the lens with the yellow laminx, as i like the yellow light. The foglights are easily twice as bright and go a great distance down the road.
The laminex is worth the $20 bucks. Not sure if im a fan of the yellow yet, but it comes in clear and smoked as well. it hides the pitting quite well and goes on easily.
hid kit. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=3958
I ordered the kit with can-bus wiring harness. it is two individual harnesses instead of the normal one the kit comes with. do some research on the website and it will give you a better explanation.
I mounted the ballast's to the body above the lamps, there was an unused bolt on each side.
