    385bhp c250td

    Hi,
i'm new here, i built this as a demo car for drifting, its a bit rough but it was only used for testing purposes.
i am currently building a new drift car, wide arch, with om606 engine from E300.

engine revs to 7000rpm and runs 3.3 bar of boost.

rear coil overs i made up from supra front(hks)

having some problems trying to get more steering lock at the minute, i have extended the bottom arms and moved the track rod end knuckles on the hub closer to centre for more lock.

anyone know if the w210 E300 has much more lock than the c250 w202, as i might transplant the steering rack from the e300 over and do away with the steering box?

Speechless! Love watching that dirty beat up 202 get crazy!

day if I'm bored and rich, want to drop an old v8 into a 202. Maybe like an old mopar 340.

    Awesome....so it isn't a myth then.
I read somewhere, on one of the other forums, a while back, that a Swedish guy(I think) put on a huge turbo on a 202 5 cylinder diesel and did some cylinder head work and made 400 odd hp and huge torque...and the engine behaved like its gasoline cousin.

What sort of NM does your car make? What did u do besides slap on the big turbo and intercooler?

no myth, turbo and modified pump= power.

these guys in finland, sweden and norway etc have been tuning these engines for years, but they mostly don't use the w202, something to do with emissions, and the age of the car. they mostly use the older models.
they can be made rev to 7000rpm+

yea, injector pump was rebuilt by Dieselmeken in sweden, pump is old type mechanical from om602 engine. the original pump elements where 5.5mm, they where replaced with 7.5mm elements. modified governor for higher rpm.

So there IS some science to this....lol
Is it serious work to the diesel pump?
    Sounds like a intriguing build

the idea is, lots of fuel in a small (time window) thats the idea of the 7.5mm element. so it can be burned with lower exhaust gas temps.
the pump needs a lot of setting up on the bench and a lot of design goes into those elements.
