    wait..... what ? not my cup of tea with that enormous blower sticking out the hood. I liked it much better with just the turbo diesel setup. but i guess twin charged will be nice. just not to aesthetically pleasing

    I'm with you on this, not a fan of the SC sticking out of the bonnet.

    But it should be interesting, is it a compound setup??

    its a bit crude i know but once i get some testing done i will decide whether the blower is staying or not, blower could be made fit if i machined a new front shaft and housing but i will see what happens.
    blower is going to force feed the turbo on low boost only, then the turbo will take over from 1.2 to 2.8 bar(estimated)

    Sounds promising from the little that I'd know about your set up and possibly the wisest thing is you being flexible about the end result. How will you control the S/c boost pressure to the turbo, simple BOV?

    I noticed you both had the same steering lock fabbed up with cutting the knuckle off and adding a piece of pipe. What diameter / length of pipe did you add to the lower control arm to give it that crazy amount of lock ? did you have to change the steering linkage ? love drift builds man ! keep up the good work.

    i was thinking of making a flap that simply sucks open when the turbo creates negative pressure. something like this maybe;

    lower arm is about 2 inches longer, so steering linkage is longer to compensate, also pitman arm lenghtened and other stabiliser arm. also knuckle on the hub moved closer to centre, but at the correct angle to keep ackerman.

    Can't wait to see when she's fired up and running again. Speed it up please. Love this thread. Might be partly due to my first car was a 240D 123 series.
