Wow, very nice! So W210 handles fit right on? Looks like a new mod for my long list of plans.

Yes the W210 handles fit right on and you can also use W208 CLK handles for the front doors. Depending on your model there are some caveats to take note of. Apparently starting somewhere around 1998 the lock/tumbler could be separated from the handle cover. Prior to this the lock and keyhole cover are an integral sealed unit. At least this is the case with my 94 C280 as well as the 96 C36. This means I could not reuse/repurpose the lock assembly and tumblers from my old handles. I ended up using the tumblers and lock that came with the new handles. The good news is that the tumbler slides right out and I was able to rekey the lock to my original key. For the 94-95 cars that did not have keyless entry you will also lose the passenger door keyhole. All in all it is a fifteen minute mod.

    Mine is a '99 C280 and the parts car I found is a '97 E320 http://honolulu.craigslist.org/big/ptd/3954923032.html

Think the handles would be compatible? Would I be able to swap the lock tumblers or is the '97 w210 going to have the integral units?

I'm thinking about trying to get the mirrors from this w210 too.

Looking at the ad I bet the car is not a 97 but a later one as the early W210 cars did not have blinking mirrors. If the handles are painted I would say they would work as this typically signifies a later build car. In your case with the 99 you might be able to just swap the entire lock to the painted set. The blinking mirrors require a bit more work but really update the car. Let me know if you have any questions on the mirror retrofit as I have done this on both of my cars.
