How do I know whether my Mono's are real or not? I got them from an older guy that had it in his E class but they do not have the amg badge on the front and when I asked him he said that he had them resprayed a while back so he thinks they covered it up?? Idk don't really care I got them really cheap and they look good!! They do have the Mercedes badge in the back of the wheels ?? Is there anything else I should be looking at?
check if it has a part number stamped on the back of the wheel... if not then it may be reps...
looks like replicas... are there no part numbers on the wheel? i can only make up et35... what size are they? also what size are your tires?
I don't see anymore numbers so might be idk they still look good and the reason why I'm asking is because I'm deciding wether I should send them out to get refinished or just plasti dip them .... I mean if they are replicas I might as well sand them out and do them myself
To me these are replicas, I got the original ones myself. still they look good!
They are definitely replicas. Only deep dish mono blocks are 2 piece off the extremely rare R129 AMG.
94 C280, 250k miles, 1999-2011 (gone, never forgotten)
CURRENT:
744 Silver 99 C43 AMG, 260k miles, 2011-
040 Black 98 C43 AMG, 190k miles, 2013-
Thanks I guess its time to try plastic dip
I also forgot to mention that my wheels came off an S-class??? Does that make a difference???
no amg stamp prob replicas, look for amg hwa part number on underside of wheel
BAN HIS ASS!!
744 C36 AMG- carlsson
040 C43- way to many modifications
744 CLK55- even more mods
CLS55 IWC edition
744 CLK500 Rocket Bunny widebody
I'll see but pretty sure they are reps too!!! Can't see any other stamp or anything else on then wheel besides what you see in the pictures ...... How do I figure out my offset???
Et 35 is the offset, my guess is that the tires are too wide since they came off an s-class. Change to a 255/35/18. On real Amg monoblocks they usually have a w210 part number and r129 for the rears. If they don't say amg on the front they are also reps.
